If you or your business has ever received a tax lien from the state or IRS you may have received a call from someone at Larson Tax Relief asking you if they can help with your tax issues. We suspect this is off-putting to many people, especially in the age of rampant tax-related phone scams and direct to voicemail spamming. At the same, these tax lien generated calls must be very helpful to people who are (rightfully) suspicious of all the big promises about IRS savings on TV and radio commercials, as Larson Tax Relief has been calling taxpayers to offer their services for over a decade.  Larson Tax Relief also does Internet advertising and radio commercials.

Honesty

Larson Tax Relief’s website has ample information on both federal and state taxes, with an informational tone. They do not over-promise huge savings, which is a good sign. The people at Larson Tax Relief do an honest job explaining both the consequences of owing taxes and the options available to the taxpayer.  We found all explanations within the tax code. They did not promise to make the tax debt disappear. This is refreshing because most tax relief companies fall into two categories: Fear or hope. They either try to scare you that the IRS will lock you in jail or they promise that they will make your tax debt vanish.

Transparency

Larson Tax Relief gets high marks here because they list a lot of personnel, from managers to senior staff, on their website. They are one of the few companies to list their Senior Consultants – the person you would speak with during an initial consultation to determine if you have a problem that is a good fit for their tax relief services. The majority of their Senior Consultants are also Enrolled Agents*, which definitely sets them apart from most other tax relief companies.

An Enrolled Agent* (EA) is a federally-authorized tax practitioner who has technical expertise in the field of taxation and who is empowered by the U.S. Department of the Treasury to represent taxpayers before all administrative levels—examination, collection, and appeals—of the Internal Revenue Service. Enrolled Agents, like attorneys and certified public accountants (CPAs), have unlimited practice rights.

Larson Tax Relief also lists their physical address. This may seem like an obvious and normal thing to do, but many tax relief companies are very opaque in this regard. We believe that if you are trying to hide something, there must be something are hiding.

Accredited

Larson Tax Relief is listed in the Denver BBB as a member since 2006, with an A+ rating. As of June 2019, they show 47 customer reviews and zero complaints with the BBB. While they have a large number of attorneys on staff, all of them are also accredited, Enrolled Agents, according to their about page. These dual credentials set them apart from many other tax relief companies.

Though not technically an accreditation, they have been named by the Denver Post as a Top Workplace 2012-2018. They are also accredited by Consumer Affairs, a consumer advocacy company that posts reviews from verified clients.

Larson Financial Inc, dba Larson Tax Relief, was founded in 2005 by Jack and Ron Larson, brothers.

Ethics

Larson Tax Relief offers a satisfaction guarantee, which we like to see more than a guarantee of a specific result. No one can guarantee a specific result when dealing with taxes or legal issues. A company or tax professional can and should, however, stand by their competency, work ethic, and past results.

We didn’t find any negatives, like lawsuits or professional sanctions against Larson Tax Relief.
They also have Trust Pilot Reviews on their website. Trust Pilot is a third-party testimonial collections company that allows testimonials from only verified customers. They also receive excellent reviews on Consumer Affairs and the BBB. If you have happy clients you are probably ethical too.

Summary and Conclusion

This Larson Tax Relief review ended up receiving some the highest marks of all the tax relief companies we reviewed. They are a well-established company with very few (none actually) customer complaints. They are honest about the tax relief options available. Larson Tax Relief gets great reviews on Trustpilot, BBB, and Consumer Affairs, as well as user reviews on this website. They offer a satisfaction guarantee and refund policy. Larson Tax Relief received the highest scores for their transparency and the qualifications of their staff. We are very comfortable recommending Larson Tax Relief for any tax debt situation.

A Conversation with an Enrolled Agent from Larson Tax Relief

Lucas Hauschild, Enrolled Agent

What tax issues will Larson Tax Relief tackle?

We deal with both business and personal taxes to both the  IRS and state taxing authorities. We work strive to alleviate the emotional and money related stress that come with these debts or filing problems or collection actions.  Our value comes from our expertise and the personal guidance needed we deliver for every unique tax problem.

What are the most common misconception consumers have about tax relief?

I’d say number one is that this is something the client’s CPA or local attorney can get the same result and provide the same value as we can. The sections of the tax code that deal with filings and deductions, the common realm of the CPA, is not the same section that we are expert in – the collection division.  This is high stakes stuff. The government is a collection agency, with incredible powers to intimidate and take money by force. Taking guidance from a revenue agent, who has a job to collect the money as fast as they can, is often a treacherous path resulting in levied bank accounts and seized assets. We aim to prevent all that, and are very good at it.

What sets your Larson apart from other tax relief companies?

Many tax relief companies say they have years of experience dealing with the IRS. On average this is not the case. Contrast this with the team at Larson. jack and Ron Larson, the of the owners of the company, each has been in the tax relief field for almost 20 years. I’ve been at it for almost 15 years. I’d say that all the senior staff has over five years, and half have been in the tax relief field for a decade. I work with very experienced professionals and am proud of it.

The big reason for this, I feel, goes back to the corporate ethos, which is a commitment to value, ethics, and commitment to long term sustainability. Good people stay with the company, and we attract very experienced and talented people. This adds up the a staff that has much more experience than is the norm.

Tell us more about the corporate ethos, as you call it.

First, the focus on customer service. We attempt to go over the top to keep our clients informed and educated, thus lowering their stress and giving them the information they need to make important decisions.

Second is ensuring our employees are taken care of too. By design, our corporate culture fosters happy, informed employees. Management treats the employees as they wish the employees to treat the customer. We’ve found that happy and well-informed employees deliver a better work product, period.

It’s easy to day that but how do you convince the customer your different?

That is always a challenge. But we can point to the fact that Larson Tax Relief has been in The Denver Business Journal’s Best Places to Work, The Denver Post Top 100 Workplaces, the Colorado Biz Magazine’s Top 50 Family Owned Companies and the Colorado Biz Magazine’s Top 250 Privately Owned Companies for multiple years. The company also won the 2014 BBB Torch Award for Customer Service, and was runner-up for the 2014 and 2015 BBB Torch Award for Marketplace Trust & Ethics.

If people take the time to compare us to the rest of the tax relief companies out there, we should always be in their finalist list, in my opinion. I’m biased of course, but I know we are solid.

If there was just one thing you would tell someone to look for before hiring tax help, what would that be?

Maybe the biggest is licensing. Every client that hires our firm has a licensed Attorney or IRS Enrolled Agent working on their file, and communicating directly with them. We also provide federally licensed tax consultants for our prospective customers to speak with about their tax situation prior to hiring our firm. We are aware of only one other tax relief company that upholds these standards.

Which other tax relief company is this?

I’d rather not say because that means that I’m talking down the rest, who are not as licensed. I prefer to talk about why I think we are better, not why I think a particular company is worse.

Okay, then what needs do your products or services fulfill, and how do you fulfill those needs better than your competition?

Our customers need much-needed guidance and comfort. It is our expertise in this area of practice provides the ability to navigate complex state and federal tax laws, policies and procedures. We are able to execute better solutions – solutions that our clients want, not just that we think they should have. This is because of the committed involvement with our clients. Sizeable tax debts don’t show up overnight, and they can’t usually be fixed overnight either. When Larson employees focus on communication and collaboration with our clients, the end result is truly tailored to the customer’s needs and unique variables.

Most of our competitors sell a “cookie-cutter” product, follow the same steps for every customer, and refer to their customers by their client ID number. We don’t number our clients, as Larson Tax Relief isn’t in the widget or cattle business. Clients aren’t SKUs, they are people, and we follow varying steps and procedures for each one in a commitment to achieve the unique resolution they need. There are a lot of misconceptions from misinformation out there.

Can you tell us about these misconceptions?

I’d say the most common misconceptions people have about tax debt is that the IRS will just negotiate or “bargain” with a taxpayer, as though at a swap meet or something.  They hear constantly in commercials about new programs and relief settlements, about the Offer in Compromise. A lot of people want to believe this of course. I get that. It just isn’t reality for over 99% of people. The isn’t a magic wand to make money, interest, whatever, disappear. If there were, believe me we’d know about it and would use it for our clients. I’d use it for myself!

What is something you wish every consumer knew about your company?

About our integrity. And our commitment to each client. We take the same care with someone who owes  $10,000 to as the client who owes $2 million in taxes. Sure the bigger problems take more time and more work, but that doesn’t mean we are any less attentive to the smaller dollar amount tax problems.

What is the greatest obstacle Larson Tax Relief is currently trying to overcome?

Market saturation and sub-par work product from our competitors is the primary obstacle our company faces every day. And the the misinformation we discussed.

Being lumped into a group with all of the other competitors in the “tax relief field” is not necessarily a good thing for our firm. Many consumers believe that tax relief companies are just a scam, and they are partially correct. Our company, at last count, has 270 “competitors” nationwide that claim to do what we do. We estimate that fewer than 10 of these firms have the ethical standards, business model and expertise to deliver results that are equal to Larson Tax Relief.

This number does not include individual CPAs and Attorneys who are often hired to fix back tax problems, regardless of the fact that most of them have very limited experience negotiating with government taxing authorities. I’m not saying these CPAs or attorneys are doing anything unethical or unprofessional, it’s just that they often get in over their heads in areas of tax code that they really don’t know.

Unfortunately we get first-hand look at some shoddy work done by other tax relief companies. Everyday we come in – to the rescue – sorting out and cleaning up the mess they created for their client prior to hiring Larson Tax Relief. Often we find that they client was indeed ‘scammed.’ It’s gotten worse in recent years.

Tell us more about that. How have things changed with the IRS?

The IRS hasn’t changed that much. It’s more about the would-be tax relief companies. In the past 5-10 years we have seen the arrival of hundreds of new “competitors” that are increasingly less qualified, yet make even bigger promises of massive reductions in tax debt. These are the miracle claims about “new government programs, make a deal with the IRS, blah, blah, blah.

A big change occurred when the companies that solicited to help with unsecured debt, like credit cards, got regulated. It was a shady industry and there was some much needed regulation imposed. Most went out of business. Many moved into tax relief, and brought with them their lack of ethics. It’s a problem.

Then what do you see for the future?

I don’t have a crystal ball but I hope that the federal government imposes regulations requiring stricter licensing for companies and individuals soliciting and/or performing any kind of tax services. That would weed out most of the bad actors, like happened in the debt settlement industry.

Any final advice to someone looking for tax help?

We encourage all consumers looking for help to slow down so they are deciding on reason, not fear. The predators leverage fear. Slow down, do your homework, and you will quickly be able to separate the good tax relief companies from the bad.

And be proactive. It’s super stressful when dealing with the IRS but I promise that taking a proactive approach rather than waiting for the IRS to come calling will be way, way better for you in the end.

And of course if you have any tax relief questions please call me at 855-285-3959.

Christ K and his assistant Miranda were professional and honest in all their dealings with me. They told me exactly what they needed from me and exactly what to expect but the outcome was much better than they first told me what they thought we could get. They literally saved me over $100k on my tax debt. Nothing was complicated and they were always there to answer any of my questions or concerns. This company clearly has earned their reputation as being one of the best to go to. I highly recommend Larson Financial. I only wish I had gone to them sooner.

I was in trouble with the IRS for years and ignored it too long. I could not sleep at night and even had a nightmare about the IRS once. About that time I reached out to the folks at Larson and they did everything for me. I didnt have to talk to the IRS after that. I did everything that Steve and Victoria told me to do and now I am making my payments. I was able to reopen my checking account after about 6 years of not having a checking account. I know that sounds crazy but I can save, set money aside for my IRA, and sleep now. Larson Tax Relief changed my life and I am grateful.

My company was in deep trouble with the IRS. We owed $48,000 in payroll tax. Our banking was risking garnishment and we had no answers, nor money to pay this. Larson listened, understood, and took immediate action at affordable cost. Immediately, we were under their protection and it removed our stress. They handled all contacts and we were able to go about our business. At conclusion, they negotiated a $600 per month payment…definitely affordable.

To continue this saga, we failed to meet that obligation two years later. Our bank accounts were garnished and it became a personal liability to the owner. They calmed it all down and worked out a payment plan under $200 per month.

They also worked out a payment plan to pay Larson that made it easy. Great, great people…our saviors!

I want to take this opportunity to thank Larson Financial, Ted Krapin,
Chris Tibbals, Melissa Humdy, and Tim Campbell for the great job they have
    done for me.

Out of the blue, I was contacted by the IRS stating that I owed almost
$100K in back taxes. I was shocked and frightened and had no idea what to
do. First I prayed for help and guidance. Then I recalled hearing about
companies that could help with tax problems so I got online and the first
one that came up was Larson Financial. I read all the information on
their website including all the testimonials and checked them out with the
Better Business Bureau and decided right then that that was the company I
wanted to help me. That was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made
because they stepped right in and took over all correspondence with the
IRS for me. That in itself was a great relief. Everyone I have spoken to
and worked with has been so compassionate and kind. They never made me
feel bad for having this tax issue and the results they have gotten for me
are far better than I ever imagined. My future looks bright again.

I highly recommend this company to anyone with a tax problem.

    Sincerely,

    Robin G.

George at Larson Tax Relief has helped me immensely with my tax problems. He has always kept me informed and up to date on all issues that I need to know and explained all the ins and outs of what to expect.

He also help me when I ask him to write a letter about my file so I could explain to the banks that I am good person and need a new van to run my business. Before this I was turned down for a loan three times but after George wrote that letter the loan approved. New van, and business is good! I have and will continue to refer Larson financial but also tell my friends to ask for George. I will sing the praises of Larson financial and George ?

Larson was so helpful in assisting me with my tax problems. After a divorce my tax situation was a total mess. Larson guided me through the complicated web that is the IRS’s forms and fine print, on my journey tax debt rehabilitation (seriously, it’s very complicated, I’m an attorney and needed help), and gave me invaluable advice for going forward. If I have any further tax issues I will definitely be calling on Larson Tax Relief.

Larson Financial Associate Chris K team provided attentive services and advocacy for our Company with the IRS. Greater than 70% abatement of penalties spanning a 3 year period involving multiple tax filings and issues was achieved. The team provided seamless transition during a staff change. They were very prompt and thorough with initiating contact, follow-up calls and emails regarding status of progress throughout the process. I would recommend and provide references for Chris K and his team.

We woke up one morning recently to find that our business account was missing almost $8000. The IRS levied the account because we were behind on tax and filings to them. And we had payroll due in a couple days. In a panic we found the Larson group online and they said they might be able to get the money back from the IRS but couldn’t promise it. We gave it a shot and it worked out. Erin there was our savior. She did get the money back so we could meet payroll and keep the doors open to fight another day. We are still in the middle of negotiations with the IRS but so far they have been so helpful in keeping us safe and informed and helping get everything together to get square with the IRS.

Special thanks to Erin and the others I’ve dealt with at Larson.

I didn’t file taxes for a couple years and I got a letter from the state saying where is your tax return? And I know I would owe taxes and to the IRS too. I didn’t sleep that night. So I did some research and gave Larson Tax a call and they assured me everything would be okay. Eventually we got our taxes filed and got a payplan with the IRS (I didn’t owe state but I did get a penalty oh well). Steve S really took care of me. Highly recommend!!

I had a bunch of medical issues, time in hospital, and in the end I owed the IRS about 80 grand. I was both pretty broke and exhausted. After Larson evaluated my situation, they were able to give me a plan and hope. I needed to refinance my home and if the IRS filed a lien I wouldn’t be able to do it. My team at Larson negotiated with the IRS, buying the time needed to get back. Their communications with me was always excellent and they left me with the feeling that they cared about my future. Once the IRS was settled, they filed a penalty abatements, and I got $11000 returned to me.

I feel that Larson was a great choice for me, and if you are in a similar situation, I believe they can help relieve the stress and help deal with a problem that too many of us face. They helped me turn my life around and for that I am grateful.

When the economy went bad I was let go from my job so I started my own company. In the beginning I needed all the money I made just to pay my bills. I had no money to pay my taxes. The IRS caught me later and even took money from my account. I am so very lucky to find Larson. They found me actually and said they could help me. And they did. They got me some time where I didn’t have to pay the IRS anything and now I am paying back my taxes on long term payment. Business is really good now and I’m my business is so good I am better than when I had my job and am going to get through this. Special thanks to Miss Lisa.

Larson was brought to my attention by my assistant, after reaching out to several firms and her description to was “They were the only ones who provided information instead of a sales pitch.” On the strength of that, I contacted them and spoke with Lucas H. It was the right choice.

The price was good, and the people were communicative and helpful. They set expectations correctly, and I never got the feeling that they were just going through the motions to handle me by checklist as one of thousands of clients. The pro-active communication is awesome, and I never wonder what’s going on, I KNOW what is going on.

Everyone on my team (and I love being able to say “my team”) has been professional and polite. I would like to give special thanks to Emily R. and Jennifer H. for staying with my case through the whole thing.

We have a landscaping company and we missfiled a bunch of employees as contractors when the state said they were employees. The made a very big tax bill and we went from feeling like we had a great business to not a great one because we didn’t have all the money to pay up front. We found Larson Financial on line and they promised they wouldn’t let them shut down our business. We also had to make it right with the IRS so in the end we had a large amount of taxes due. We are now filing our taxes the right way and things are going very well. Our case manager Maggie was a dream to work with. She helped up so much I cannot say. I’m not sure what I would have done with out her keeping me calm and showing me the right way to do things with the state and irs.

I contacted Larson after talking at length to one of their former
clients who explained that they set up a program specifically for her,
based on her particular situation, though her situation was quite a bit different than
    mine. The Larson team immediately
got going on my case and took over all communications with the IRS. My
account representative kept in constant contact with me. She
updated me throughout the IRS negotiations, invited my input, and
explained any and all questions. I received my final agreement signed
agreement from the IRS within 90 days of my initial contact and could
not be happier with the results. I was still a little leery of
contacting them because I had previously employed the services of a
different tax relief agency and it drug out for over a year without much
communication or a solution. I highly
recommend them for any possible tax relief solution.

I work as an independent massage therapist and therefore don’t have any taxes taken from my checks. One day after a fake IRS call scared me into action to face the years of unpaid taxes. I google searched for someone to help me tackle this giant that had been a source of stress for the past couple of years.

By the grace of God I found Larson Tax Relief, and was lucky enough to have Lucas Hauschild answer the phone. When I called I was in a panic because, embarrassingly enough, I had fallen for one of those fake IRS collection scams (which is what scared me into action lol)! Lucas calmed me down and reassured me that no one was going to come looking for me, and that as it turns out, the IRS would never call any one about this any way, and that they would MAIL letters to you instead.

After the shock wore off, we began talking about how to handle my situation, and after we exchanged some paperwork to start the process, Lucas explained in detail what my situation looked like, and how we could go about starting to address it. He was understanding, kind, and patient with me. If I didn’t understand something he said, he would repeat and clarify until I did. He followed up with me for months, because I didn’t have the money to hire them at the time I called. I’m sure he thought I was full of crap after so many month, but I was FINALLY able to EARN the money to hire them, and I DID!!

Eventually Larson got the IRS to put my account into what they call “a currently not collectible status” for 24 months, and almost like magic, years of stress and worry were put to ease. Don’t get me wrong, my debt didn’t go away, it didn’t vanish, but it was brought into a place where the IRS would understand that times are tough, and that I was never “avoiding” paying them, I just couldn’t and can’t afford to; they would then agree to not bother me until I was in a place where I could, and then check back in and re-assess.

Everything about Larson Tax Relief is 100% THE REAL DEAL, professional, and I could tell the entire time, no matter who I was talking to, that no question was too stupid, no judgments were made about my situation….they TRULY cared about their client!

Last week I learned that the IRS agreed to our offer to settle on our tax debt for 12 cents on the dollar. We owe huge thanks to Larson Tax Relief for this.

We never were going to get it all paid back. It was a huge bill from our now closed construction company that went belly up in 2009 during the housing crash. The bank literally stopped paying mid stream on a project and the music stopped and the bills and payroll tax was unpaid. We were in deep trouble.

Our CPA didn’t want to touch it. We looked online for help, read a lot of reviews and tried Larson. From our fist conversation with Lucas to the rest of our team (we had two different case managers because it took a while to resolve) there we were always given hope and boy did they deliver. This literally will change our lives for the good. A million pounds of stress has been lifted. Thank you guys. If you are in deep with the IRS CALL Larson Tax today.

The state levied our business bank account for taxes we owed. I really felt aweful and took the blame because they warned us. But I found it too stressful and with work always getting in the way. But the was different and we were at risk of not paying our bills and employees.

We looked at various companies on this and other websites and decided to call Larson. I was actually surprised to get the Lucas interviewed in the larson review. He was so knowledgeable and sure he could help us. We gave it a go and by the end of the next day the state had released the money they seized. Of course we had to get get int he good graces with the state but we quickly started the process. And we also are dealing with the IRS, which we have some missing filings for.

Without any hesitation I recommend Larson Tax Relief. – with thanks, Mary

Okay I was totally sceptical from all the stuff on TV and radio and the IRS giving free money away. Everything I ever here about the IRS isn’t good and I don’t know anyone who got their taxes just forgiven. But I was behind in my taxes so had to look at my options.

I called a few companies and as soon as I heard the TV stuff I was on alert. When i called Larson they were different. They were a total buzz kill but I could tell they were being honest. like, why are they saying I cannot get the tax bill killed by the IRS.
I hired Larson and they my attorney echoed my initial consultant. Based on my financial status I was not getting the deal from the IRS. So we went down the real path and eventually they got me “current” and stopped all the levies and garnishments. Huge. Love them. Read deal honest and badass.

I hate the IRS. I really really hate the IRS. They make it so damn difficult to file taxes, figure out what you owe, what you can deduct, and if you try to do it yourself and save money like me you are probably going to be sorry. And I was sorry. I got an audit and owed them for two years and it also affected my tax planning for the current year, so I was in debt to the IRS. On a tip from a friend I called Larson Tax relief and they very quickly had a battle plan for me. They were able to get me a reduction on some penalties and a plan with the IRS that was super affordable. I hate the IRS still but I love Larson Tax relief.

It had been a 4 years since I filed my irs and state taxes and I figured I was into them both for at least $40000. I was about to get married and we wanted to buy a home but my mortgage guy said that there was no way I could get a loan because I had a tax lien. I didn’t even know about the lien! So I went looking for help and talked to a few companies that I saw on TV. Something about them didn’t seem right because they just promised what was too good to be true sounding stuff. After I talked to Larson Tax Relief I felt better. They said they could help but didn’t make half the promises they others did.

After they got me on board I was assigned an specialist and she was like a sister to me. I was like a basket case at first but she and her team got me into a very affordable arrangement with the IRS and state and now I’m up to date with filing my taxes this year too. T

Thanks to Larson Tax Relief> I recommend anyone with tax debt to call them.

I fell behind in my taxes. Didn’t file, didn’t pay, didn’t file again, put the money in my pocket. When the IRS didn’t show up knocking on my door I was like this is okay. But then I started getting mail and demand for payment and a lien on my business. I knew I had to do something.
I was contacted by a representative at Larson Financial and she said they could help. After talking to them further and doing some fact checking I hired them. They really forced me to get my act together and also stopped the IRS from contacting me more. They did the talking to the IRS going forward and kept me updated on every detail of the negotiations. My stress went from a 9 to a 3 on the IRS and they have a long term plan for me and my business. I’m really thankful for them.

After going through a divorce money got really tight and I was not even keeping up with work. I made a bad choice to not file my taxes because I didn’t have the money at the time. Then I signed a totally impossible repayment plan with the IRS. I guess I was scared and they were aggressive about me paying it in 24 months. But I couldn’t afford it and missed a couple payments. Then it started all over again but the IRS were even more rigid with me about what they would do as far as payments. That’s when I looked for outside help and hired Larson Tax Relief to take over with the IRS. The IRS stopped calling me immediately and my attorney are Larson got me 6 year terms for repayment and also got most of my penalties waved, which was king of a bonus for me and cut the amount down that I owed. I gotta say the really helped me out of a bad patch in my life. Thank you guys.

I was referred to Larson Tax Relief as I needed an immediate payment plan set up with the IRS. I ended up being able to set up the payment plan myself, but even with that, Tim Campbell still offered me lots of advice and assistance. He gave me options to ask about when working with the IRS and told me how to try to save some money on the tax burden I have. I was thrilled that he was still willing to help me even though he wasn’t going to get my business. That is very impressive.

So I obviosly had some tax problems. Not filing one year lead to a couple more years and I was in deep trouble with the IRS. Eventually they found me and garnished my paycheck so I had to do something. I talked to a few different companies, a couple on this site too and when I talked to Lucas at Larson I knew that I wanted to work with them. They didn’t give me the dream like the others and said that I was for sure going to pay some if not a lot of tax but probably not all of it. My attorney there was super knowledgeable and got my paychecks back in my pocket and we ended up getting caught up with the IRS. Totally highly recommend them.

I live in California and like everyone knows they tax the hell out of you here. It’s almost impossible to keep up with all the different tax departments and paperwork and filing schedules and the money they want to extort for California’s bloated government. As a small business owner I fell behind and eventually was levied by the EDD. That’s when I found Larson Tax Relief.

They stopped the EDD taking any more money from me and got most of the money back from the levy, which really saved my butt. After some months of catching up on my filings and my current payments Larson got me an affordable plan and a plan to stay out of trouble. They really saved my business when I thought I wouldn’t make it.

I have had two good experiences with Larson Financial and their attorneys. I was engaged by the attorney on my case he provided correct guidance; and we worked together through all the frustration that characterizes dealing with the IRS. When we hit a roadblock he insisted I get involved to help, because that’s what was required. And we achieved the desired result.

I suppose my experience suggests that there is not magic, but there is a way… and his advice on my issue produced the desired result. And “no,” my personal attorney and others associated with the process were ultimately of no help. It was Larson’s attorney who got it done. Consider this a strong real-world recommendation. They were invested in the outcome as much as I was.

FRIENDS. I AM READY to post, retweet, hold a sign on a corner and sell my soul to tell everyone how great Larson FINANCIAL is. Mike and Amanda have not just gone beyond the call of duty but they carried my pain, empathized and sympathized with my current situation and did not once shut me down asking for “just the facts”. They understood that my case was special to me… and that’s all that mattered when i spoke with them. Of course they are not trained psychologist in listening but they were able to extract what they needed. They told me to relax and breath and let the pros do the work. The knew i didn’t have the money at that moment, and kept the wolves off for MONTHS… ALMOST YEARS… THEY , BY the end of it all, were able to get me a payment resolution in the form of a payment plan that would keep the IRS happy so I could sell my shop and move on with my life AFTER paying them off. Amanda and Mike basically saved my home, family, and child’s future just by understanding and doing paperwork. (not “JUST” PAPERWORK..legal-ease) . No one wants to sell their shop BUT EVERYONE wants to see their kids grow up in their home… not some shanty beat up apartment with an unemployed dad. I OWE Amanda Mike, and all those at Larson my Future. I know iI was hard to work with but desperation calls for cool minds to prevail. I wish their was a 5 diamond rating i could give. You out thought, out hustled and out maneuvered … THANK YOU.! MUCH LOVE AND APPRECIATION.

My tax problem went all the way back to hurricane Katrina. We live and own a business on the coast and needless to say we were both homeless and jobless for quite a while. That’s when we didn’t pay our taxes to start. We didn’t have the money. Then when we finally got our home livable and the doors to the biz back open, we fell further behind because business took a long time to come back. A lot of people were just gone from the area, and most who were around didn’t have money to spend because everyone was hurting from the aftermath of Katrina.

It was over 4 years before business returned to pre storm levels and by that time we were financially underwater to the IRS like our house was to Katrina. Finally I looked for Help because the IRS was threatening to take our bank accounts. I chose Larson Financial because they seemed more honest than some others who we interviewed. I’m glad I chose them because everything they said they got done and even more. Though we still owed some tax they got a lot of the amount removed because of our situation and then they were able to break it into payments that were quite small and not a problem for us. We were freaking out a bit when Harvey was headed this way and had Larson on speed dial. Hey you in Houston, call Larson Tax!

OMG! I cannot say enough about how much this company saved my sanity. My husband and I had a failed business and owed back taxes, which I could no longer ignore/avoid. (word of advice: NEVER ignore the IRS thinking they will go away. THEY WON’T.) So we sought help from an internet tax company who took over 5000 of our hard earned dollars and accomplished NOTHING. I was so distraught, and overwhelmed and continued to stack the rainforests worth of unopened IRS letters in a deep dark corner of my house that were continually inundating my mailbox.

Oh, not to mention, in the meantime there, was also a lien being filed on my home… nice…

So, after many more months of many tears and many glasses of wine and feeling paralyzed by the whole situation, my husband found Larsen Financial. I was extremely skeptical, having been scammed once before. They called me, and spoke with me about a game plan, and how much it would cost/ how long it would take. He eased my nerves, and before signing an arrangement with him, I tearfully begged of him, “please don’t screw me over.” He replied with a sympathetic ” I won’t, I promise.”

And from that day on, I didn’t waste another second worrying about the IRS situation. Our case manager took that bull by the horns and tamed it. He was able to break all my options down into language I could understand, and gave me time to make educated decisions about how to proceed.

When it came to the lien, he noticed that it should never have been filed in the first place, and was able to get us a ‘certificate of non-attachment’ (which is a thing, who knew?) and provide us with a whole new level of relief.

Larsen Financial is the real deal, and I am so so so glad I took a chance with them. We got the best possible outcome for our tax situation we could hope for, short of them paying it all off for us. :) I cannot thank them enough.
